NatureScot has now launched their formal Consultation into the proposal for a new National Park in Galloway.  Glencairn does not lie within the three proposed boundary options. However, we understand that there is concern around the impact that a new National Park could have on our area. 

As a neighbouring resident or business, or as a regular visitor to the area of the proposed parks, your views are important. The consultation is open until 14 February 2025, and we urge you to visit the website and complete a Questionnaire (-there are separate Questionnaires for individuals and for key stakeholders).
