Are you interested in Sustainable Business / Tourism?

Moniaive Initiative have been discussing local and regional issues with other Development Trusts in the area, and as a result we have joined forces with the Galloway & Southern Ayrshire UNESCO Biosphere to create a series of events to encourage discussion of challenges around key climate change issues.

Our event, at 6-8pm in Thursday 1st Sept at the Memorial Institute in Moniaive, will be an informal evening exploring how businesses can contribute towards environmental sustainability in our region.  We will also discuss the value of sustainable tourism and how you could tell your green story.

This is part of our series of talks, The Land Remains.   It will provide an opportunity to network, share knowledge and learn more each other, and from our GSAB Business Officer, and our special guest, Ian Tuneley from VisitScotland. Refreshments will be available.

This session is #3 of our 4 part series The Land Remains. This series of talks will finish with a visit to a regenerative farm in the DG3 area on October 6th to explore the topic of Land Use and Regenerative Farming. For more information please get in touch faith@gsabiosphere.org.uk

We hope you will join us for this event, to give us the opportunity to discuss with you the challenges facing business in Glencairn, and to better understand how these Climate Change issues impact your business.
