Moniaive Initiative is a community organisation, established in 2013 to deliver legacy projects for Moniaive and Glencairn. Our organisations aims and objectives are:
- To relieve rural isolation, social & economic disadvantage due to remote location
- To advance sustainable community development
- To encourage participation in education, arts & culture and leisure for all individuals in the community.

Moniaive Initiative is a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation, Registered No SC044760. This is a legal form unique to Scottish Charities. You can find out more about SCIOs at: http://www.oscr.org.uk

We are a member of the Development Trusts Association Scotland, the community-led Regeneration network.
In 2021-2022 we continue to be funded by Scottish Government’s Investing In Communities Fund.

We are always looking for new members. There is no charge to join, and you don’t have to attend any meetings. Occasionally we may contact you to ask for your ideas and views on what we are doing. To join, simply complete and return the Membership Application Form, which you can find here:
