Deborah Iden, Project Coordinator

Deb

Deborah joined us in 2015 as a Project Officer.  She has a degree in Archaeology and History, and several years’ professional experience managing environmental and community projects for a county-based Trust in England.  She has voluntary experience across a variety of roles, including with a local wildlife trust, a rural social enterprise, school parent councils and community youth groups. Katie McKenzie-Wilson, Glencairn Health & Wellbeing Project Officer

Katie joined us in September 2022 on a two-year post funded by D&G Third Sector Mental Health & Wellbeing Fund. She has a background in community work, involving different areas of health and wellbeing, such as addiction and restorative justice. She lives in the village with her family and is actively involved with many groups, including the Moniaive Primary School Parent Council and the Gala Committee. Julian Waddell, Volunteer & Retail Coordinator at The Hive in Moniaive

Julian joined us at The Hive in October 2022 on a short-term contract. His post is currently funded until March 2024 by Blackcraig Windfarm Fund through Foundation Scotland. Julian brings to his role a variety of skills and experience gained over 25 years of working in customer service roles, mostly in the leisure industry. He supports our volunteer staff at the Hive, the artists and crafters who supply the shop, and all our customers and clients, providing a professional level of consistency to our shop front.
