Help us to celebrate International Repair Day by joining our free Furniture Upcycling Workshop – there are still a few spaces left!

10am-3pm on Thursday 15th October 2026 at the Glencairn Memorial Institute in Moniaive.

What to Bring:

An apron, or wear old clothes
A small item of furniture to upcycle
Ideal pieces: bedside tables, stools, small chairs, shelves, drawers, picture frames (nothing too large, we need space to work comfortably.)

You might also find it helpful to bring your favourite colour swatches or inspiration photos

Any hardware you want to replace
e.g new handles, knobs, hinges (optional, only if you have something specific in mind).

What We Provide:

Paints (chalk paint + topcoats), Brushes, rollers, sanding blocks, cleaning materials, basic repair tools (glue, clamps, filler, screwdrivers), Protective coverings

Don’t have a piece of furniture to upcycle? Let us know, we will try to provide something on the day.

A light lunch is provided, so don#t forget to give us your dietary requirements when you book your place.
